AI vs WordPress is the wrong question

Where AI fits
At SiteSovereign, AI may help with research, planning, early drafts, development and repetitive work. It can make those stages more efficient.
It does not decide what the finished website should say or whether something is good enough to publish. That is reviewed by a person.
Where WordPress fits
WordPress becomes useful when the way you will use the website after launch makes a content management system worthwhile.
You might want to publish articles regularly, add projects yourself, have several people editing the site, expand the website over time or use particular integrations. In those circumstances, WordPress may be an excellent choice.
When WordPress may be unnecessary
Imagine a local trades business that needs five pages and expects very little to change after launch.
Adding a large content management system may not provide much benefit. A simpler build could be faster, easier to maintain and perfectly adequate.
There is no prize for using more technology.
Does Google prefer WordPress?
No. Google does not rank a website simply because it uses WordPress.
Search performance depends on many things, including the usefulness of the content, technical accessibility, relevance, links, competition, local signals and the overall quality of the site.
WordPress can be configured well. It can also be configured badly. The platform alone is not an SEO strategy.
What about ownership?
Before paying for a website, understand who owns the domain, who controls the hosting, whether the website can be moved, whether somebody else can work on it later and how it will be maintained.
Those questions affect the business long after the website has been built.
