Bespoke is for projects that need more thought, more research or more functionality than a fixed package allows. We look closely at the business, its customers, competitors and search market, then plan the copy, structure and technology around what the website needs to do after launch.
WordPress makes sense when you need to manage content, publish regularly, give several people access or expand the site over time. Other projects are better served by a custom or static build. We decide that after understanding how the website will actually be used.
Bespoke work is where we can go deeper into what customers are searching for, what competitors are doing, which services are worth prioritising, what information prospects need before enquiring and how the website should support the wider client acquisition system.
A bespoke website can play a larger part in your marketing, but the same rule still applies. People need to reach it through search, your Google Business Profile, advertising, referrals, social media or another channel. The website then has to persuade the right people to take the next step.
